I was a little unclear about what I mean. I am not actually talking so much abou people who are quite in general, more about those who aren't the quiet type but sometimes stay quiet in certain situations. Usually it is because they actively avoid saying something for a reason. What I have learnt the last few years is that quietness is one of the most difficult things to interpret. That is what makes me nervous...is the person thinking this or that but I have no idea what it is and therefor I don't know how to act, react or think.
Why don't you just ask the "quiet persons" if there's anything wrong? Maybe you'll get clear answers or maybe it's more complicated than that? Is it people you've known for a long time, you should absolutely ask them straight.
Of course I do! That doesn't mean that there will be an answer and there usually aren't one for me. Sometimes it is more complicated than that and sometimes there are no complications at all but still, that doesn't mean tha I'll get an answer.
Sure sounds complicated. Let me give you the advice to ask her or him to tell you what might be the cause of being quiet. It might break the ice and it might be beneficial for you both. Hoping you'll get an answer from the "quiet people".
Sometimes I know or have a good idea about what it can be or why, but in those cases I still wonder waht exactly the person is thinking and what might be the consequense of those thoughts. Unfortunatly it often doesn't matter if I ask or not, some doesn't answer anyway. So what I am saying that people sometimes simply don't answer questions, difficult/controversional or not.

Some people are just quiet by nature. Don't be too sure they have an evil plan.
