What is it about men and whiskey?! There are two things that to taste like crap (in general) and that is coffee and whiskey but still I have both friends, family and collegues at work who seem to love whiskey, both to drink and to talk about. A friend even decorates his home with it...but I wonder what his wife thinks about that ;-)

But please, that is not whiskey, that is blended! Only single malt will do if you are civilized :-)
Well, I would say that beer, coffee and whiskey are all acquired tastes which no sensible person can appreciate immediately. It is simply something you have to endure until you slowly learn how to enjoy it...
As Winston Churchill famously said: "I have taken more out of the whiskey than the whiskey has taken out of me"
