Intressant men skrämmande konversation. You made right to stop the conversation. Even if we all the time ought to try to convince racists not to be racists this seems to be a difficult case. However I think that you, Natasja, it is too hard when you call a whole nation racists.
Of course it was too harsh of me to do so. I only tried to provoke him to take a little step back and not only think it is obvious that everybody think that Roma are not people. I only had one other conversation with another Slovak while living there that had similar opinions as M, all the other people I met there never spoke about Roma like that. The fact that a lot of Slovaks (how many that is I don't know) have racist opinions I have only read about, eg. in documents/papers concerning human rights violations.
