FURIOUS!
I am sooo angry right now! Is Sweden really a democracy? Nope. Not today. Why? Because today a "historical event" took place (said the prime minister) and the Alliance decided that we now can build NEW freaking power plants here in Sweden when the old get too old. We voted to phase it out. In Lexin the word "phase out" is even exemplified with this: "kärnkraften skall vara avvecklad i Sverige år 2010---in Sweden, nuclear power is to have been phased out by the year 2010".

DO THE EVOLUTION, BAAABYYY!
by Pearl Jam. I might have put this song here before but it is well worth looking/listening to. This is one of the energizing songs but unfortunately also pissing-Natasja-off (it is a reminder, hence the frustration and anger). I refuse to even consider the thought of this even being a subjective matter. It's a fact, whether you like it or not. This is as objective as anything ever will be.
It's up to you if you want to support those who strive for more of this (as shown in the video) or not. If you want to be PART of it. Keep track of the Swedish media and you'll see what the different parties think and what they DECIDE to do and don't give that crap about how difficult it is to know who to vote for. I'll give you one single question below, of course it is not enough to see all the questions that are important but it is a pretty telling one.
I'll just ask you a question at a 1st grade level: Fact 1. Cars (most of them) are bad for the environment. Fact 2. Trains are not bad for the environment. Where do you think that the most of the money for transport should be put, on cars or trains to help preventing the fact that there is a environmental catastrophe?
I'll say no more...
Woo..
Im ahead, Im a man
Im the first mammal to wear pants, yeah
Im at peace with my lust
I can kill cause in God I trust, yeah
Its evolution, baby
Im at piece, Im the man
Buying stocks on the day of the crash
On the loose, Im a truck
All the rolling hills, Ill flatten em out, yeah
Its herd behavior, uh huh
Its evolution, baby
Admire me, admire my home
Admire my song, heres my coat
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
This land is mine, this land is free
Ill do what I want but irresponsibly
Its evolution, baby
Im a thief, Im a liar
Theres my church, I sing in the choir:
(hallelujah hallelujah)
Admire me, admire my home
Admire my song, admire my clothes
cause we know, appetite for a nightly feast
Those ignorant indians got nothin on me
Nothin, why?
Because, its evolution, baby!
I am ahead, I am advanced
I am the first mammal to make plans, yeah
I crawled the earth, but now Im higher
Twenty-ten, watch it go to fire
Its evolution, baby (2x)
Do the evolution
Come on, come on, come on

Stand

Read the text that is shown during the video. You might learn a thing or two and hopefully it gives a lot more thoughts. I've never head of this group until this weekend and the tip came from an unexpected source. As you can see in, I've labeled this post with politics, environment, music AND human rights. The reason for that is that problems in the environment is clear human rights problem.

If it doesn't have this, you're eating BAD FISH!
Can I make it any clearer? Fish with this symbol on it is ok, the rest is most probably close to extinction and/or fished in a environmentally unsustainable manner. If you still don't know why you should chose this, ask yourself if you would ever eat giant pandas if someone served you or pulverized tiger penis. If yes, eat on the close to extinct fish, if not, why on earth would there be any difference between you and the people who kill giant pandas? A crime which by the way is one way to get the death penalty for in China.

Cleaning out my closet
But not in the Eminiem way, more literal. I've gotten in contact with a woman called Elsa Kittel who for many years has been collecting things like clothes, kitchen things, curtains and all other sors of stuff that people need in their lives, in their homes, and sending them in big trucks to the other side of Östersjön, Romania etc. to women and children who are poor or in other unfortunate situations. So, I am going through also cabinets to find whatever I have forgotten that I have, that is working but that I have no use of any more. It's a win-win situation where I get rid of stuff I don't need that only take space from my not too big flat and give it to people actually need it.
Going through your own things and find so many things you don't need, you really feel what you are, a pretty spoiled western person who has way too many unnecessary stuff. My "footprint" in the world is still a lot bigger than most people in the world even if I am trying to make it smaller by living a more personal and environmental healthier life...and trying a little to make others to do the same...eg. NOT EATING THE WRONG FISH and not eating so much beef (since it is, per kilo, worse than gas)! ...just to mention one thing. Giving away fully functional things also is a way of keeping others from buying new things (as if these specific people would be able to :-S) and doing so not contribute as much to the energy consuming consumption.

Buy OLW!
Yes, can you imagine...I am advising you to buy a specific brand, in this case OLW instead of eg. Estrella. Why? Because they use sunflower oil instead of palm oil which contributes to rain forests being devastated. Since I can remember, I have always prefered to buy Estrella because of the taste buy I have broken up with them and from now on I only buy OLW. You know what, my favorites, sourcream and onion taste GREAT by OLW, to my surprice. So by buying OLW instead of eg. Estrella, you stop SOME OF YOUR contribution

* of rain forest devastated
* extermination of animals
* fulling the climate change
* and be more healthy
Palm oil is in all kinds of food. Every time it says "vegetable oil", it can be palm oil and it is everywhere! Take some time when buying food, check out the table of contents and you'll see that palm oil is or can be everywhere.
