They just showed interviews with Danish doctors from Mèdecins Sant Frontiéres. They told short stories about what they had experienced from different conflicts. One woman, who worked in Sierra Leone, talked about how it felt when a man called the Butcher came in with a crushed leg and onto her table. He used to walk around with a machete, slitting pregnant women's bellies up with the machete just for fun. He and his friends bet on whether it was a baby girl or a baby boy.
Listening to their stories might make a person either change channel, feel happy that they are home and safe and still full after supper...or, like I am, feeling that I am doing pretty much everything than what I should and want to do. What am I doing here?
