It's discrimination not to let them live as straight couples, with the same rights etc. You yourself say that "it's just the word part". It's just a word. That would have to mean that words and meaning don't change over time. As I see it, the "word part" is just a way of excluding people, saying that they are not good enough as "we" are. If the word is so important, why don't we kill them too? It's just words, right?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not agains the gay community and their freedom to live in couple; it's just the word part and the latin etymology implies
