Pursvenk - not neutral

My latest update on Facebook. Yes, I am both tired and pissed off. Tired of the poor excuse of freedom of speech. Seems like people in Sweden usually use the word when they want to express more or less well hidden racist views.

"Neger" är också bara ett ord. Eller "blåneger" som den där politikern i Landskrona använde sig av. "Hora" är också bara ett stackars ord. "Fitta" likaså. Vad sägs om vi lägger ihop TVÅ ord så det blir ett nytt ord, ex. fitt-/neger-/hor-/muslim-/gubb-/kärring-/ +jävel. Men det är ju bara ord som inte någon har lagt någon värdering i.

Om dottern kommer hem, ledsen för att någon har kallat henne "jävla hora/fitta", säger man då "vad gnäller du för? Det är ju bara ett ord och den där tjejen/killen menar ju inget med det.

Fitta har med våtmarker att göra. Ord förändras ju...uppenbarligen inte.

Ja, det handlar ju om enstaka ord utan någon som helst värdering i det. Eller?

It's an interesting article about something you never really hear about. It's sad, maybe not the least because it shows how far behind they are in certain questions, like poverty.

Make Rights Real!

A few minutes from the conference Make Rights Real! that Amnesty Sweden arranged not long ago in Stockholm. Unfortunately I couldn't be there. A good friend of mine working at the secretariat, had among others things, the task to call and invite eg. the members of the parliament. I like the fact that he alternated between calling them and chatting with me :-)
